Services for Medicaid Families

At Unfiltered Lactation, we believe every family deserves access to high-quality lactation care—regardless of insurance coverage. Unfortunately, IBCLCs are not able to bill Medicaid directly, which means services are typically considered out-of-pocket.

To help bridge this gap, we proudly offer our Medicaid families a deeply discounted flat rate of $50 per visit (normally $175–$250). This special rate is available for families who live within 20 minutes of zip code 22556.

When completing your intake form, you’ll be asked to upload a copy of your Medicaid card as proof of coverage to receive this discounted rate.
